It was cold and had some storms. One evening driving back to our
hotel we skirted a tornado. That night was a little scary! The
waves in Destin were the largest we have ever seen! We took a

made sure everyone had something to hold plus we gave away to

University. Webster has a new campus there. On Saturday we were
taken up to the mountains 60 miles from Tashkent. It was
beautiful. We found a spot showing the lake and mountains. I
took a Riverbills sticker with me for the perfect shot.

I've been cruising the Erie Canal, Oswego River, St Lawrence
River, Thousand Islands, Canada & the US.
We are now in Clayton, New York. It's home of the Antique Boat
Museum (https://www.abm.org)
and also International headquarters for the Antique and Classic
Boat Society (ACBS).
All boaters must make a plan to get here and see this!, but
until then, here are a few pics.
The weather is a little cooler with temps in the 40s overnight.
I hope to be home sometime later this month. We are NOT on a
schedule.

Bill,
Found this sighting on the flight deck at 36,000 feet on way
from Honolulu to Sydney, so I froze our position on the GPS.
We were crossing the equator on first pic showing S0000.1 on the
latitude and then crossed the International dateline just split
second later in second pic showing longitude E18000.0
That was my favorite run, going to miss it. Always a great time
in Sydney!

My brother Denny has his garage walls and beer fridge completely
covered in posters and stickers. Well, the 54 year old fridge
finally got replace so he needed new sticker.
Of course one of the first was a RiverBills one!
Here's pics of the old fridge and the newer one. Flooding here
in Fenton should crest sometime Thursday. Will send you some
pics and maybe drone video of that.

During the last crest my stump end table
floated away. It was setting on RiverBills World
Headquarters lot at Woodland Marina.
You say... What's a stump end table?
It's a large section of a tree we cut
down, maybe 3 feet in diameter and 24 inches tall. We put it
next to some chairs near the fire pit and it quickly became the
perfect outdoor end table ! Then my good friend,
Capt'n Carl Tiemann polyurethaned the top surface and the
bark..... Wow. The perfect piece of river outdoor
furniture.
When we we moving stuff and preparing for
the last crest of the old Mississippi River a few week ago, we
sorta forgot about her, thinking the water wasn't going to get
that high. Well it did and after it receded the ol' stump
table was gone.... Yes, it floated away ! Dang the luck.
My harbor neighbor, David Haas spotted
her right away resting in a field about 2 blocks away. The
finish that Carl put on her caught his eye. He called and told
me he had found my stump table ! Yah mon !
Now, how are we going to get it back ?
It's very heavy, setting in a wet field. David suggested
we put a large screw eye in it, tie it to a tree and he would
pull it back with his jon boat when the water comes back up.
Sounded like a plan.
Well, the water is up and David motored
over, tied her to his boat, towed her home and tied her to our
tall (still in the ground) stump table......

Bill,
Had a Riverbill’s sticker sighting Saturday at the Quincy Boat
Club Antique Outboard Motor Swap Meet. Was good to get out and
talk about boating even though it was pretty cold! Also saw the
poster for the 2019 Annual Quincy Classic boat and outboard
motor show scheduled for September 13th - 15th. More on that
later this summer.
