LOUIS—Aug. 18, 2006 – MarineMax, the nation’s largest boating and yachting retailer, is pleased to announce that its Port Arrowhead St. Charles dealership has achieved Sea Ray Master Dealer Gold certification.  This designation ranks the dealership as one of the top-performing Sea Ray dealerships in the United States .

The Sea Ray Master Dealer Program was developed to recognize top-performing Sea Ray dealerships.  It is an intensive third-party certification and on-site audit process that evaluates all aspects of a dealership’s sales, delivery and service practices. 

To become a Master Dealer Gold, a dealership must demonstrate the ability to meet and surpass more than 110 quality measures in customer satisfaction, dealership operations, sales, parts and service.  In addition to exceeding the Sea Ray national average market share, a Master Dealer Gold must achieve consistently high scores on the customer satisfaction index.  To qualify for Master Dealer Gold status, a dealership must meet or exceed at least 90 percent of Master Dealer point requirements.  Throughout the United States , 45 of MarineMax dealerships have joined the elite list of Sea Ray dealers earning Gold, Master or Ambassador Dealer rank.
