Hey, Bill,

Back in April I sent you a couple of pics of an old friend that I hadn't seen in about 35 years. Thanks to Riverbills.com he showed up at Lake Center Marina one day looking for the Y2Katy and found us. We were both gearheads back in the day. Little did I know he was a prophead long before me. Here's John Linck and his lovely wife Karen and their beautiful center console boat "Aquaholic'

Bill,

We have a new navigation hazard about a mile down from the st. Louis Yacht Club. (you can't see the yacht club in the background) In daylight it's no big deal but someone out there at night or in low light could very easily do a lot of damage.

Record Alligator Caught In The Mississippi River.......

On Tuesday, a record-breaking alligator was snagged in the Mississippi River near Vicksburg, Mississippi.  The nearly 800 pound alligator was 13.5 feet in length.  This gator barely beats the record set over last weekend, that was also greater than 13.5 feet in length, but weighed in at 756 pounds, also caught in the Mississippi River near Vicksburg.  Researchers do not believe that Vicksburg is growing bigger gators, but rather people are catching ones that were previously hidden........
